- The speakers are:
- Denny Owens on “Ethics & Police Procedure” Owens has 33 years of past law enforcement local/county/state experience with a focus on investigations and training assignments. He is currently an adjunct professor at MSU with areas of specialty: investigations / ethics / gangs / drugs.
- Paul Baertschi with a “Legal Update” Baertschi is a local prosecutor as well as Author of the MN Legal Briefs newsletter that provides legal updates to law enforcement agencies in the area.
- Bob Nesbitt with a “MNJAC Update” Nesbitt is a retired Plymouth Police Sergeant who now works for the MN Joint Analysis Center (MNJAC). Nesbitt was with PLEAA a couple of years ago with information on terrorism. This time, Nesbitt will be sharing information on submitting reports to them, then what they do with them for analysis and redistributing the information back out into law enforcement.
